With its fascinating chemical, physical and mechanical properties, water has been a main interest during her studies as environmental engineer. Her PhD/postdoctoral research explored the potential of Earth Observation data for its application in water resource management.
Imeshi is a specialist in water resource management with a background in water resource engineering and telecommunications engineering. She also holds a degree in international business and economics and has several years of experience in project management. Her focus lies in helping to make the world more sustainable and water security a reality for all.

Holding two masters' degrees in robotics and aerospace engineering, he is the machine learning engineer at WEO.
Rowan is an experienced project developer and manager, with more than 8 years’ experience at a major Australian water utility. He holds a degree in civil and environmental engineering and completed a thesis on applying machine learning to understand water consumption. From an early age, he learnt the value of water in a dry climate as a keen kayaker and was fascinated by how ecosystems thrived in arid areas around a water source.
